2. Do I have to make an appointment to see one of your kitchen designers?

It is not necessary to make an appointment if you wish to visit our store during the week, however if you want to speak to one of our kitchen designers at a weekend it is strongly recommended to make an appointment by calling our office on 020 8830 5544 or e-mailing us on info@brw-furniture.co.uk .This is because discussing a kitchen design may easily take up to an hour so it is important to book the time to make your visit hassle-free.  At the time of booking an appointment please ask for a free catalogue to be posted to your address if you have not already got one.

3. Do I need to prepare for the appointment? Is there anything I should bring with me?.

What is really important to have when you come to see us for the first time to discuss your kitchen design is to have your kitchen room previously measured up. Do not worry, we do not expect a professional measurement with all angles and curves the walls may have. To start with we need just a rough idea of what your current kitchen is like. If you bring with you a drawing of the kitchen room showing how wide and high the walls are and indicating where windows and doors are it will be good enough. Also, it is helpful if you tell us the distance from the floor to the window and measure up any windows and doors (height and width). Please have a think which appliance you want to keep and which one you would like to replace with a new one. If there is a gas point/ water point / main power point in the kitchen please make a note of it on your drawing.
Once you have the drawing you can think of your preferences and of all the things you would like to have in your kitchen like e.g. storage baskets, shelves, soft-closing drawers, plate racks, drawer dividers and any of the accessories we offer. Try to bring with you an idea of your ideal kitchen and we will do our best to combine your preferences, designer’s ideas and functionality.

6. I really like the design and the final price of my new kitchen, but I am afraid my measurements could have been incorrect. How do we go around it?

If you like the design and you know you will go with us, you can now place the order by paying 50% Deposit of the total estimated price. We will then arrange for our designer to go to see your kitchen room, professionally measure up the kitchen and make changes in the design if necessary. There are usually very little changes in the design at this stage. You will be given the final price after the designers visit and we will update the remaining payment by issuing a debit/credit note if necessary.
